Description
Several Canada goose caught with a net-canon in order to be banded, at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge during banding season. The geese were caught right next to Windmill Pond, which is located just south of Turnbull headquarters. The net canon used to catch the geese was borrowed from the Lower Souris Refuge in North Dakota. A total of 113 Canada geese was caught during the 1952 banding season.
