Abstract
This document applied to lot 5 block 8 of the King Addition in Spokane Falls, Washington. Harry Lenchner was the grantor and Margaret Paterson the grantee when the deed was filed.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
Subject to the provision that no race or nationality other than the white race shall use or occupy any building on the above described property except that this provision shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race or nationality employed by an owner or tenant..
