Description
Stubblefield Lake sign posted well above shore stating that trespassing and hunting of any kind is prohibited at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. A dotted line has been drawn on the photograph with blue pen to emphasize the high water mark created by floodwaters during the spring. The sign post is still partially submerged, although the floodwaters appear to be receding. The caption reads "high mark on sign at Stubblefield lake, this sign post was placed well above the lake shore during fall of 1947".
