Description
This issue of the Easterner contains articles about Homecoming activities, Hunger Awareness Week, concerns by Eastern faculty about the academic budget, a spell of cold weather, the resurfacing of missing Eastern student Shawn Russell, an honors seminar on the 1960s taught by Robert Gariepy, the passage of the Clean Indoor Air Act by the Washington State Legislature, which limits indoor smoking, a program by the education department to help ensure the success of recent graduates, the Associated Students (ASEWU) elections, Homecoming Queen Chiko Jittu, Homecoming events sponsored by Delta Omega, a campus talk by incest survivor Katherine Brady, eating disorders, football player Ed Simmons, and the wrestling, cross country, volleyball, and football seasons.
