Obituary
Harvey, 86, died February 16, 2010, at his home in Goshen, Indiana. He was born February 13, 1924 and was a member of the Mennonite Church. Harvey was drafted into Civilian Public Service in 1943 from Middlebury, Indiana. His occupation at the time was listed as Carpenter. After training, Harvey was assigned to the McCall unit where he jumped the 1944 and'45 seasons. He had three fire jumps in 1944 and six in 1945. After the war he worked in the boating industry for 60 years, over 38 with Starcraft Marine of Goshen where was Vice President and in charge of design and engineering of Starcraft aluminum and fiberglass boats.
