Obituary
Bob, PhD, Professor Emeritus at Vanderbilt University, died January 1, 2013. He earned his BA from the College of Idaho and his PhD from the University of Utah. Bob jumped at McCall during the 1953 and 1955 seasons. After a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, he joined the faculty in Psychology at Peabody College, Vanderbilt University. Bob was one of the founders of the new field of Community Psychology and edited the Journal of Community Psychology for many years. He was a board member of the Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving and a valued advisor to Mrs. Carter. Although he retired in 2002, Bob remained active advising doctoral students.
