Mike, 61, died of lung disease March 30, 1987. He was born July 1, 1925, in Portsmouth, N.H. where he grew up. Mike took flight training at Augustana College in Illinois during WWII and flew B-24 bombers in the Pacific Theater. In 1951 he earned his bachelor's in Forestry from the University of Montana and jumped at Missoula during the 1949 season. He listed as being the owner of a Lumber Company.
