Emerson, 63, died October 3, 1985, in Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Chester County, PA, September 14, 1922, and was a member of the Mennonite faith. He was drafted into Civilian Public Service in 1943 from Pomeroy, PA, and his occupation at the time was listed as "Sales Clerk." Emerson jumped at Cave Junction during the 1945 season.
