Obituary
Bob, 87, died July 2, 2015, in Atlantic Beach, Florida. He was born August 20, 1927, in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania. He served in the Navy during WWII. Bob graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in Forestry in 1952 and from Harvard with a master's in Public Administration in 1958. He worked for the USFS for 30 years (1952-82). Bob worked on the Ozark NF, Bankhead NF, and Talladega NF as well as the regional office in Atlanta and the D.C. office. He also was with the United Nations Food/Agriculture operation in Italy, Pakistan, Nepal and the Sudan. Bob retired to Mocksville, N.C. He jumped at Missoula during the 1951 season and is buried in the Jacksonville, Florida, National Cemetery.
