Obituary
Don, 97, died September 29, 2023, at his home in Rock Island, Illinois. He was born June 20, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, Illinois. Don was a US Navy Veteran. He obtained an associate’s degree from St. Ambrose’s College and retired in 1990 from Chrysler Motors after 40 years as a General Manager. Don was a member of St. Pius X Church where he was a lector, Knights of Columbus and Allouez Council, Rock Island. He was an avid reader and volunteered as a reader. Don jumped at McCall during the 1948-49 seasons.
