Roger died May 6, 2021. He grew up in Medford, OR, and graduated from Medford High School in June of 1944. He entered the Army Air Cadet program and went to Montana State University and then to the University of Utah. He was discharged from the Airforce in 1946. Roger then entered the University of Oregon and graduated in 1950 with a bachelor’s degree. Two years later, he entered law school at Willamette University and graduated in 1955 with his law degree. Roger practiced law in Reno, NV from 1959—1992 before moving to Santa Barbara, CA to be close to family. Roger jumped at Cave Junction 1951-58.
