Wayne died July 14, 1976, in a plane crash 55 miles south-east of Libby, Montana. He was born June 10, 1949, in Lovell, Wyoming and was a forester for Champion Timberlands. Wayne graduated from the University of Montana School of Forestry in 1971. He jumped at Missoula 1970-72.
