Obituary
Bill, 56, died April 13, 1990, of complications from a brain tumor. He rookied in 1953, took a few seasons off, and returned to jumping in 1957-61. Bill was a teacher at the former Missoula Vocation Technical Center teaching forestry and surveying. While he hadn't jumped in years, Bill returned to the air in 1986 joining his youngest son who had taken up sport skydiving. He added six more free falls to his logbook before hanging the gear up for good.
