Kary, 32, died October 29, 1987, when he was accidentally shot during a hunting accident near Miles City, Montana. He was born September 27, 1955, in Harlowton, Montana, graduated from high school in Ryegate and attended college in Bozeman. Kary and his wife, Cathy, lived on the Campbell Ranch on the Powder River. He had jumped at Missoula 1975-77 and West Yellowstone 1978.
