Abstract
This document applied to blocks 1-4 of Manito Club Addition in Spokane, Washington, with the exception of lot 1 on block 4. Edward and Myrl G Stammmerjohan was the grantor and Manito Development Company was the grantee when the deed was filed.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No person of any race other than the white race shall use or occupy any building upon this premises except that this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race domiciled with owner or tenant.
