Abstract
This document applied to 82 lots of Audubon Terrace Fourth Addition in Spokane, Washington. These include all lots on blocks 3 and 4, lots 20-39 on block 1, and lots 1-18 on block 2. Eagle Investment Company was the grantor when the deed was filed.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No race or nationality other than the white race shall use or occupy any building on any lot, except that this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race or nationality employed by an owner or tenant.
