Abstract
This document applied to lot 5 block 14 of the King Addition in Spokane Falls, Washington. Sanders Homes, Inc was the grantor and Herbert Hampton the grantee when the deed was filed.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
Existing restrictions and incumbrances and that this conveyance is made and accepted upon the conditions that no race or nationality other than the white race shall use or occupy any building on any lot, except that covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of different race or nationality employed by the owner or tenant.
