Abstract
This document applied to all lots of the Gandy's replat of the King Addition and First Addition to the King Addition EXCEPT lot 12 on block 7, lots 1-3 and 16-17 on block 8, all of block 9, and lot 26 on block 3 of the King Addition and First Addition in Spokane County. M. Leona Gandy Risard was the grantor when the deed was filed.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No person of any race other than the Caucasian race shall use of occupy any building or any part thereof on said lot, except that this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of another race domiciled with an owner or tenant.
