Abstract
This document applied to several lots of the King Addition in Spokane County. Leona Risard was the grantor when the deed was filed and Perry Sanders the grantee.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
Subject to 1946 taxes and also to the provision that no race of nationality other than the white race shall use or occupy any building on any lot, except that his covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race or nationality employed by an owner or tenant.
