Description
This panel contains information and images about notable fires that have resulted in changes to smokejumper practices. These fires include the 1910 Big Burn, the Mann Gulch Fire in 1940, and the South Canyon Fire on Storm King Mountain in 1994. This panel was used for an exhibit titled: Smokejumpers: Firefighters from the Sky.
