Description
Joe Delay was born on April 30, 1926 outside Sandpoint, Idaho to Tony and Caterina. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1944 and was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, 327th Glider Infantry Regiment. He served in Europe beginning in the Alsace and ending up near Munich in Berchtesgarden, Germany when the war ended. After the war, he graudated from Gonzaga University School of Law, opening his office in 1952. Delay married Helen Curran in 1954. Delay died May 8, 2019 in Spokane, Washington.
