Description
Anthony J. Kamel was born April 27, 1917 in South Portland, Maine to John and Sabrina Kamilewicz. Kamel graduated from the University of Idaho earning his bachelor's degree in 1940 and his master's in 1941. He married Kay Jones, also in 1941. Kamel served in the United States Army as an infantry officer in the European Theater participating in the Battle of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. Kamel worked as a sales manager for J.R. Simplot and U.S. Steel. He died on December 5, 2010 in Spokane County, Washington.
