Spokane Indians warming up before the first practice game of the 1914 baseball season of the Northwestern League. This practice game was between the Spokane Indians and Washington State College, at Recreation park, Spokane, Washington on April 9, 1914. Most likely what’s captured in the photo is a warm up or practice by the Spokane Indians team before the game or between one of the innings. Manager Mike Lynch, in center, appears to be on the mound with second baseman, Joe Wagner, to the right.
