Description
Tomas Villanueva, founder of the United Farm Workers of Washington, gives a lecture titled The United Farm Workers Union of Washington: Status and Issues as part of the Cinco de Mayo events at Eastern Washington University. Villanueva wears a United Farm Workers button on his chest.
Through Villanueva's activism, the Yakima Valley Farmworkers Clinic and the United Farm Workers Service Center were established.
