This issue contains articles about: Parks Inducted into Prestigious Hall of Fame, Alumna Pam Parks honored for her role as coach and mentor making it into the Inland Northwest Sports Hall of Fame, and Tapping into the Craft Beer Business, EWU alums working hard to make every hour happy, we scoured and searched to compile a list of EWU alums paying the bills by making our beer and although all of these brewers are at different stages of commercial production and distribution, they demonstrate their shared love of good, clean, well-crafted beer, and Get Lit! literary festival celebrates 20 years of sharing the written word, it has been a driving force in Spokane’s growing literary community – fostering a love of reading and writing in the area, while celebrating talented local, regional and national writers, and Meet Mandy Manning, national finalist for 2018 Teacher of the Year, and Doug Clark, a man of many talents, newspaper columnist extraordinaire, the first person inducted into the Eddie Gaedel Society’s Hall of Fame, and recognition of his role in making Spokane the “City of Choice” for the Northwest, and STEM, Eastern's new era for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, Avista Development’s planned Catalyst Building in Spokane’s University District will feature Eastern Washington University as the primary tenant, opening the doors for EWU to be an innovation hub connecting students to the regional business community, and Hampson Sings Hometown Praises, world-renowned baritone Thomas Hampson reflects on his time at Eastern and beyond
