Description
The measuring of a 13 day old female Canada goose at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Cheney, Washington, 1952. From the annual report from Turnbull that year, one can read that this was part of a project investigating growth factors and progress in immature Canada geese. The project was a cooperation between Turnbull and Dr. Charles F. Yocom at The Department of Zoology at Washington State College.
