Description
Upper end of Lower Turnbull Lake is in view from the fire tower at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, 1952. According to the annual report from Turnbull this year, this photo was taken when the lake was near maximum elevation, where the gauge reading of the water level was at 6 feet. This photograph was used in the May-August 1952 report to contrast against a photograph of Lower Turnbull Lake at under 4 feet.
