Description
Fire truck used at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in 1952. The annual report from Turnbull this year points out that the water tank on the back of the truck had recently been reinstalled on the trucks frame, instead of the truck bed, in order to reduce weight and increase balance. The report also notes that this vehicle was a 1939 1/2 ton Chevrolet stake truck.
