In view is a feeder ditch, a man-made channel supplying water to Stubblefield Lake at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. Ditches like these helped control water levels at the refuge. The photo was taken from the east, looking west into the refuge. Barbed wire is visible in the foreground.
