Description

Hatched eggs at a Canada Goose nest on an island in Upper Pine Creek Lake at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Cheney, Washington, 1951. The annual report from that year notes that broods of two youngs were off this nest by April 30th 1951. This development was noted as much better than for the same time the previous year when considering nesting and migration patterns of Candida geese at the refuge.
