Abstract
In this letter to his brother, Thomas Evans writes that he was sent to guard a railroad bridge, marched to Paris, Kentucky, the crops between Cynthiana and Paris, their reception in Paris, setting up camp, and patrolling the streets. He also mentioned that he reported to General Burbridge.
