Abstract
With the older adult population increasing in the United States, people must be aware of the barriers and obstacles the older population faces. Many people need to be made aware they can play a massive part in advocating for older adults. Anyone can make a change and a difference in the older population, whether you are a student, middle-aged, approaching adulthood, or an older adult. You can make a change for this population! Through this poster presentation, there will be pathways the average person can advocate for older adults; whether someone wants to make a significant change through policy efforts or just small changes in their day-to-day life, anyone can make a change, and it can positively affect the way older adults are treated and recognized in society.
