Glenn was born on March 21, 1921, in Springfield, Ohio. He married Anna P. Beck on February 14, 1947, in Missoula, Montana. They had four children during their marriage. He died on June 23, 2000, in Rancho Murieta, California, at the age of 79. He was in the Army 1942-45 and jumped at Missoula during the 1949 season.
