Obituary
Dick,64, died of Alzheimer's disease February 22, 2001, at his home in Groveton, Texas. He was born December 19, 1936, in Lisbon, North Dakota and was a forestry and ROTC graduate of the University of Montana. Dick jumped for two seasons, spent two years on active duty in the Army, and worked four years in timber management positions on the Flathead N.F. Dick worked on several other forest in Region 1 until 1984 when he transferred to Texas and a position as District Ranger. Dick retired from the USFS in 1994. He was active in the Boy Scouts and the First Assembly of God Church for many years.
