Obituary
Bob died June 28, 2010, in Tucson, AZ after a brief illness. He grew up in River Edge, NJ and served in the Korean War as an airplane navigator. After his military service he attended Utah State University, graduating in 1956 with a BS in Journalism and later a MS in Sociology. During his time at Utah State, he spent the summers of 1953 and 1954 as a smokejumper based in Idaho City. He later earned a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin and he and his wife Carol had a counseling practice in Tucson for the past 25 years. He also had a private pilot's license and his own Cessna and led an active life with his family.
