Obituary
Jim, 69, died Oct. 31, 2011, in Cold Springs, California. He attended Humboldt State University and earned a bachelor's degree. Jim served in the Army in the Vietnam War, and later joined the Army Reserves as a drill sergeant. Following college, he worked for the Forest Service, ultimately in the Stanislaus National Forest. Jim jumped at Redding during the 1968 season.
