Obituary
Dwight,69, died May 30, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Seattle. He was badly injured in a skiing accident 14 months ago. Dwight graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1967 and later earned his master's degree from Michigan State University. He jumped at Missoula during the 1966-67 seasons. Dwight was born March 22, 1945 in Phoenix, AZ, and graduated from Glendale H.S. in 1963. In 1968 Dwight was accepted to Officer Candidate School at Quantico and served three years in the Marine Corps where he flew the T-38 Talon and A-4 Skyhawk. After the Marine Corps he began a 40-year career with the USFS where is favorite position was that of ranger on the Superior R.D. from 1984-89. Dwight spent his life volunteering as a T-ball coach, Cub Scout Leader and in the National Ski Patrol where he received a 30-year recognition awards in 2013.
