Obituary
Jim, 64, died June 3, 2012, in Kennewick, Washington. After the family moved from Wisconsin to Ellensburg, Washington, in 1949, Jim went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University in 1979. He jumped at North Cascades during the 1968-73 seasons; Jim then embarked on a career that culminated as budget officer for the U.S. Forest Service and the National Resource Conservation Service.
