Obituary
Ivan C. Amstutz (McCall'45) Ivan, 86, died July 13, 2012, in Kidron, Ohio. He was born in 1926 and drafted into Civilian Public Service in 1944 from Dalton, Ohio. He was a Mennonite and his occupation at that time was listed as "Farmer." Ivan attended Hesston and Goshen colleges before serving as a CPS-103 jumper from McCall. In addition to his training jumps, he had seven fire jumps during the busy 1945 season. After his discharge in 1946, Ivan returned to Ohio and was a dairy farmer with registered jerseys and he also worked in the insurance and banking industries. .
