Obituary
Jim died March 21, 2016. He graduated from South Dakota State University with an engineering degree. Jim jumped at Cave Junction 1953-56 before going into the Navy. After an enlistment in the Navy, he got his law degree from the University of Montana using his job as a smokejumper to pay his way through school. Jim started his career in law in Kalispell, Montana, and worked there until December 2013. During that time he was a Flathead County Attorney and a U.S. Magistrate, along with his private practice. He was a Life Member in the NSA.
