Chuck died June 15, 2016. He served in the US Navy before earning his bachelor's and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1957. Upon graduation in 1957 he was employed by the State Department of Agriculture of California in the laboratory system. After seven years of employment in California he was appointed director of the branch laboratory in Rocky Ford for Colorado State University-Fort Collins. He served in that capacity for more than 38 years and retired in 2002. Chuck jumped at NCSB during the 1951-52 seasons.
