John, 78, died November 26, 2020, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born September 6, 1942, in Roswell, N.M., and graduated from Capitan H.S. Prior to retiring, he worked for the government as a firefighter, special investigator, and a smokejumper. Most of his career was in California. After retirement, he moved to Roswell, NM in about 2006. John jumped in Redding during 1966-67 seasons.
