Obituary
Jack died February 13, 2019. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1950 with a degree in business administration and played safety and back up quarterback for the Grizzlies. Jack then began a 60 plus year career in banking during which he chartered two banks and became president of the Montana Independent Bankers. In 1984 he became Chairman of the Independent Bankers of America and was appointed to the Consumer Advisory Council in 1998. Jack was involved in many community and state organizations throughout his life. He was the founder of the Highlander Track Club that, over a 44-year span, provided a track program for over 14,000 grade school kids. Jack jumped at Missoula for the 1947-48 seasons
