Obituary
Dick, 90, of Stevensville, MT, died February 23, 2014. He was born June 1, 1923, in Klein, Montana. In 1941 he attended Sentinel High school in Missoula where he played Football and ran Track. He enlisted in the Marines at age 17 during WWII and was on a troop transport that was torpedoed at sea. He rookied at Missoula in 1945 and had seven training and three fire jumps. Dick also jumped the 1946 season. He returned to Stevensville where he spent most of his life and was the oldest member of American Legion Post 94.He is buried in Stevensville, Montana
