Obituary

Bill died November 25, 2011, in Linden, NC. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a U.S. Forest Service smokejumper. Bill was in the Marine Corps 1948-52, North Carolina State and Wake Forest University 1953-56, CPA firm 1957-62 and Cumberland County 1962-85. Before retiring in 1985, he was a Captain with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and director of the Identification Bureau. Bill jumped at NCSB during the 1953 season.
