Obituary
Rick was born on January 25, 1932, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He married Josephine Louise Haight on December 30, 1956, in Santa Barbara, California. He died on September 16, 2002, in Midvale, Utah, the age of 70. Rick was a Forester with the Forest Service, Utah State Forester 1986-93, and retired in 1994 as Assistant Director of the Utah State Forests. In 1990 he was elected a Fellow of the Society of American Foresters, in recognition of his outstanding service to forestry. Rick was a graduate of the University of Idaho and a member of the Intermountain Society of American Foresters. He jumped at McCall during the 1953 season.
