Obituary
Bruce, 87, died November 19, 2023. He was born January 9, 1936, in Pocatello, Idaho, and later graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Forest Management in 1958. After graduation he was a lieutenant in the Army trained as an artillery officer and as an airborne officer. Bruce had a 33-year career with the USFS. During this time, he earned an MBA from Western International University and a law degree from Antioch Law School in Washington, D.C. Bruce continued a second career as a professor at Indiana University teaching Recreational Resource Administration and Legal Liability for 20 years. He jumped at Idaho City during the 1955 season and at McCall 1956-57.
