Obituary
John, 78, died March 5, 2022, in Kemmerer, Wyoming. He was born January 19, 1944, in Dillon, Montana. John worked for the railroad 1978-2006 when he retired. He also worked as a teacher and a ranch hand but “his most enjoyable job was being a smokejumper.” John jumped at McCall 1968-74 and 1978. He served in the Army with the rank of Captain. He earned his bachelor’s from Western Montana College and attended the Montana School of Mines.
