Obituary
Bob, 73, died March 13, 2004. He was born October 1, 1930, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked on the Mt. Hood NF while going to high school prior to jumping at Cave Junction 1948-49. In 1950 he went to work for the Parkrose Fire Dept. Bob was a member of the Naval Reserve when the Korean War started. When he was not called up, he joined the Army as an infantryman with the 27th Infantry Regiment. He stayed in the reserves after the war and retired as a Major. After the war, he returned to the fire department retiring in 1985 as a Battalion Chief. Bob is buried in the Willamette National Cemetery.
