Obituary
Stan, 79, died June 29, 2007, in Seattle, Washington. He was born May 14, 1928, in Seattle. He married Bernice E. Keith September 2, 1950. When he registered for the draft during WWII, he was a Merchant Seaman for the Matson Line out of San Francisco. His Ancestry record notes "well known deep-sea diver." In April 1959 the Centralia, Washington, newspaper wrote "Seattle deep-sea diver Stanley Eike was stricken with the bends at Westport and rushed to the decompression chamber at Keyport Naval Torpedo Station. Eike has been diving off the coast on a commercial job." Stanley jumped out of Missoula in 1952.
